Welcome to our Middle School
Our Middle School is made up of four vibrant classrooms, serving as a vital bridge between early childhood and our JUCO learning community. Led by dedicated teachers who foster a supportive and engaging environment, this stage of learning focuses on nurturing our growing learners as they build deeper critical thinking skills and foundational academic strength. We blend primary school support with an increasing focus on personal responsibility, ensuring every child feels valued, connected, and empowered to grow in confidence before they transition into the upper year levels.

Taught by Sheena Naik, who nurtures our Year 3 learners as they transition into the middle school years and build foundational academic skills.
Kukupa - Year 4
Lydia Hammersley
Taught by Lydia Hammersley, who guides our students while inspiring a school-wide love for reading in her role as our Library Lead.
Kaoko - Year 5/6
Kahurangi Poa
Led by Kahurangi Poa, who brings extensive leadership to our senior primary area as our Assistant Principal, Middle School Team Leader, and classroom teacher.
Kopeka - Year 5/6
Carleen Ashford
Taught by Carleen Ashford, who helps our older middle school students develop deeper independence and critical thinking. Carleen leads our school as the Sports Co-ordinator and our Curriculum Literacy Lead.
