Year 3
Our Year 3 classroom is a positive and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to grow as confident, curious learners. We focus on developing strong foundations in literacy and numeracy while also nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and independence.
Our class aims to embody our school values of creativity, caring, respect, integrity and achievement. Students learn the importance of working together, supporting one another, and showing pride in their learning.
We embrace the culture, traditions, and language of the Cook Islands in our learning. Students are given opportunities to explore Cook Islands Māori language, stories, music, and cultural practices. Through these experiences, we help students develop pride in their identity, respect for their heritage, and a deeper understanding of the community and environment that surrounds them.
