Learning at Apii Te Uki Ou

Our philosophy at Apii Te Uki Ou is based on developing the whole child so they are confident and capable both in literacy and numeracy; along with developing innovative, critical thinkers. By keeping our vision ‘Akara Ki Mua – Learning for Tomorrow’ at the fore of our day to day operation we are able to achieve our school's mission. Our mission at ATUO is to provide an inclusive, nurturing environment that caters for the individual needs of our students.

Furthermore, we challenge our students with a rich and varied curriculum that helps equip them to excel in a changing dynamic world. Our strong partnership with parents and families is vital to the success of ATUO students. We work together to develop passionate learners, effective communicators and independent thinkers.

One day these young people will grow into responsible contributing members of their country and will be truly global citizens.
